The 2nd Colombian Congress on Brain Health will take place on February 5 and 6, 2026, at the Jaime Hoyos Auditorium of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá.

 

The congress will be held over two full days, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., featuring an academic program that includes lectures, panel discussions, mentorship sessions, fast presentations, and a poster session.The congress is aimed at health professionals, researchers, university faculty, and students at different levels of training, as well as anyone interested in the study of the brain, cognition, and brain health.

 

The event seeks to foster an interdisciplinary dialogue bringing together diverse perspectives on the current challenges in neuroscience and brain health.Throughout the two days of programming, the congress will address topics related to neuroscience, aging, neurocognitive disorders, prevention, and care, as well as clinical and translational research. Cross-cutting discussions will explore the role of social context, health systems, and public policy in promoting brain health across the lifespan.

 

The 2nd Colombian Congress on Brain Health brings together national and international experts, strengthening academic exchange and collaborative research networks. The diversity of approaches and experiences enriches scientific discussion and contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of brain health.

 

The congress is organized by Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, through the Laboratory of Cognition, Neuroscience, and Context, whose research work integrates scientific rigor with a strong commitment to social context. This approach to science recognizes context as a fundamental dimension in the production of relevant knowledge with meaningful social impact.
